许多玩家询问关于传奇中的任务系统的问题。总的来说，任务就是要求玩家去完成的某种使命，从而玩家可以得到意外的奖励，可能还有更多乐趣。传奇的任务花样繁多，有的只要玩家把某个道具带给某个NPC，有的需要玩家消灭某个指定的怪物或者寻找隐藏的NPC。。。。。。
激活任务系统的方法就是和游戏中不同的NPC交谈。获得任务取决于不同要素包括：
1.玩家所装备的道具
2.玩家行囊中的道具
3.运气，因为NPC是随机给玩家任务信息
4.玩家的等级
5.玩家所在的行会
6.玩家是否完成过其他任务
7.玩家是否正确回答了NPC的问题
同时，单个任务可能还包括一系列的支线任务，只有完成所有的支线任务才算真正完成了整个任务。值得一提的是，许多新的游戏地图和地牢只有通过任务才能到达，而且玩家在这些地图中的时间是有限的。
